Wir hoffen sehr, dass uns dieses Mal die Pandemie nicht mehr einschr\u00e4nken wird. We very much hope that this time the pandemic will not restrict us any more. The plans are quite complex: one week of work, one week we’ll be a crew of four with a dog, two weeks as a crew of three and then „winterising“…<\/p>

<\/p>

Vier Wochen Urlaub am St\u00fcck und die Aussicht auf einen Fr\u00fchjahrst\u00f6rn in den Niederlanden: das ist es, wof\u00fcr wir unsere pepperbird <\/i>gekauft haben (unter anderem)!<\/p>

Aber so einfach ist es diesmal wieder nicht. Zuerst m\u00fcssen wir nach Attnang fahren, wo \u00fcber den Winter ein neuer Dieseltank aus Edelstahl nach dem Modell des alten gebaut wurde. Den Tank werden wir einpacken und dann ist die n\u00e4chste Station Die\u00dfen am Ammersee, wo dir Matthias abholen werden. Die Nacht werden wir im Hotel „Zur Fischzucht“ in W\u00fcrzburg verbringen, bevor wir am Sonntag weiter nach Lelystad ins bew\u00e4hrte Hotel Leonardo reisen. Da haben wir zwei N\u00e4chte gebucht und hoffen, dass wir am Montag den Tank fertig einbauen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>

Am Dienstag steht dann das Kranen auf dem Programm und danach werden wir bis zum Wochenende mit Reparaturen und Vorbereitungen besch\u00e4ftigt sein. Geplant (und notwendig!) ist etwa die l\u00e4ngst f\u00e4llige Reparatur des Tiefenmessers. Auch den Landstromanschluss will ich endlich installieren. Au\u00dferdem w\u00fcrde ich gerne einmal zur Mastspitze raufklettern, um die Fallen-Bl\u00f6cke zu inspizieren. Der neue Autopilot braucht einen neuen Stromanschluss, die Logge soll auch wieder einmal eingebaut werden, ich glaube einfach nicht, dass der Geber nicht mehr dicht sein sollte. Es ist also genug zu tun!<\/p>

Am 30. April, Samstag, wird Livia mit Pudel Baloo anreisen und am 1. Mai (die Arbeit hoch!) soll die Reise richtig losgehen. \u00dcber Stavoren und Harlingen wollen wir in drei Tagen zur Wattinsel Terschelling kommen, wo wir Fahrr\u00e4der („fietsen“) mieten werden, um auch etwas f\u00fcr die Fitness zu tun. Am Sonntag, dem 08. Mai m\u00fcssen wir Livia und Baloo bei einem Bahnhof abliefern, damit sie \u00fcber Schiphol wieder nach Wien zur\u00fcckreisen kann.<\/p>

Wir drei „Alten“ wollen dann noch etwa 10 – 12 Tage segeln, wobei es f\u00fcr diese Zeit noch keine konkreten Pl\u00e4ne gibt. Four weeks‘ holiday in a row and the prospect of a spring cruise in the Netherlands: that’s what we bought our pepperbird <\/i>for (among other things)!<\/p>

But it’s not that easy again this time. First we have to go to Attnang, where a new stainless steel diesel tank was built over the winter based on the model of the old one. We will pack the tank and then the next stop is Die\u00dfen on the Ammersee, where we will pick up Matthias. We will spend the night in the hotel „Zur Fischzucht“ in W\u00fcrzburg, before travelling on to Lelystad on Sunday to the tried and tested Hotel Leonardo. We have booked two nights there and hope to be able to finish installing the tank on Monday.<\/p>

On Tuesday, craning is on the agenda and after that we will be busy with repairs and preparations until the weekend. Planned (and necessary!) is the long overdue repair of the depth gauge. I also want to finally install the shore power connection. I would also like to climb up to the top of the mast to inspect the halyard blocks. The new autopilot needs a new power connection, the log should also be installed once again instead of the blanking plug, I just don’t think the transducer shouldn’t be tight any more. So, there is enough to do!<\/p>

On 30 April, Saturday, Livia will arrive with her poodle Baloo and on 1 May (Labour Day!) the journey should really get started. Via Stavoren and Harlingen we want to sail to the Wadden Island of Terschelling in three days, where we will rent bicycles („fietsen“) to do something for our fitness as well. On Sunday, 08 May, we have to deliver Livia and Baloo to a railway station so that she can travel back to Vienna via Schiphol.<\/p>

We three „old timers“ then want to sail for about 10 to 12 more days, although there are no concrete plans for this time yet. Time permitting, a blog will once again document our activities on these pages…<\/p>
